Objectives of Preschool Education
Preschool in the Mainstream
To provide opportunities for students to achieve the following objectives:
- Effectively use language for communication;
- Practice Islamic values in daily life for Muslim students;
- Embrace the core values of Malaysian society;
- Appreciate and be sensitive to the culture of Malaysian society;
- Love and respect the environment;
- Develop a positive self-concept and self-confidence.;
- Practice health habits, build physical fitness, and ensure personal safety;
- Develop creative and aesthetic abilities; and
- Apply critical, creative, and innovative thinking skills as well as problem-solving skills in learning and daily life.
Preschool Special Education
- To provide appropriate and relevant education opportunities for students with special needs to enable them to be independent and lead a quality life;
- To enhance cognitive development and social skills and reduce behavioral problems often associated with children with special needs;
- To improve physical development, language, and communication skills, psychology, and self-care skills;
- To foster curiosity, initiative, and discipline;
- To practice Islamic values in daily life for Muslim students; and
- To equip students with basic skills required to undergo the school experience.
