To develop competent educators to meet the strategic needs of the nation's education through scholarships and loans.

OBJECTIVES

• Ensure optimal management of sponsorship funds to meet the training needs of future teachers and educators.
• Efficiently manage sponsorship for future teachers and educators
• Ensure efficient management of study leave and training positions for future teachers and educators.
• Ensure effective management of loan repayments and meet the set targets.
• Ensure efficient and effective enforcement of scholarship agreements and study leaves.

FUNCTIONS

• Study and formulate Sponsorship and Agreement Enforcement Policies.
• Plan and manage sponsorships/study leaves for Educational Service Officers, Executive Group Members, and pre-service students within and outside the country.
• Enforce loan and scholarship/study leave agreements.
• Manage enforcement actions for loan repayments and compensation for breach of scholarship agreements.
• Manage matters related to Training Positions service.

We, the members of the Education Sponsorship Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia, pledge our commitment and promise to focus all our efforts and energy to:

• Ensure scholarship or loan offer letters are issued to students and Educational Service Officers WITHIN 14 DAYS after candidates are verified and approved.
• Ensure study leave approval letters are issued to Educational Service Officers WITHIN 3 WEEKS after complete applications are received.
• Ensure receipts are issued WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS for education loan repayments or compensation for contract breaches by individuals.
