OBJECTIVES

• Implementing an efficient and effective accounting and financial management system
• Providing accurate and reliable Financial Statements of the Ministry to stakeholders
• Ensuring financial transactions are accounted for accurately and comply with accounting standards and applicable financial regulations
• Offering quality and effective advisory services in accounting and financial services in line with best practices
• Providing accounting management information and reports to assist senior management in decision-making

FUNCTION

CUSTOMER CHARTER

• To complete payments within 2 days from the date of receiving complete documents;
• To pay monthly salaries of Ministry and Department members no later than the 25th of each month;
• To process self-advance, vehicle loan, and computer loan applications within 7 working days from the date of receiving complete documents;
• To provide feedback on all system complaints within 3 working days from the date the complaint is received;
• To issue Oversight Reports within 14 days from the Closing Meeting date to enable corrective actions and improvements to be taken by the Responsibility Centre; and
• To provide accurate and complete Financial Statements of the Ministry as per the specified date.
