To plan, implement, and monitor an effective and cost-efficient ICT ecosystem.

OBJECTIVES

• Designing, implementing, and monitoring the execution of ICT initiatives in line with the KPM digital education policy.
• Providing ICT infrastructure and infostructure to support the operation of ICT initiatives.
• Developing, maintaining, and upgrading ICT application systems and portal.
• Providing consulting services and technical support for ICT.

FUNCTION

CUSTOMER CHARTER

We, the Information Management Division, Ministry of Education, with full determination and commitment, pledge and promise to dedicate all our efforts and energy to:

• Develop applications based on user needs and job scope as mutually agreed with customers within a period of six (6) to twelve (12) months, depending on complexity.

• Execute the processing of: -
  • Public examinations no later than 5 days before the results are announced; and
  • Selection and offers of admission to Fully Residential Schools, Matriculation Colleges, Teacher Training Institutes, Technical/Vocational Secondary Schools, and Form 6 no later than 5 days before the online offer review is issued.

• Ensure that complaints received through the Help Desk are addressed within 1 day.
• Ensure the Wide Area Network service is provided based on a guaranteed availability level of 99%.
• Provide Data Center services based on the following service level guarantees:
  • Data Center availability at the Headquarters with 99%.
  • Web Hosting Data Center availability with 99%.
