VISION

Systematic, Efficient, and Quality Asset Management

MISSION

• To comprehensively maintain educational assets for the comfort of students and educators.
• To ensure that educational asset facilities achieve high standards of quality and safety.

OBJECTIVES

• To plan and manage asset management programs/activities owned by the Ministry in line with current policies.
• To plan and coordinate the overall implementation of maintenance for assets owned by the Ministry of Education Malaysia to ensure a conducive teaching and learning environment.
• To plan and coordinate the provision of fundamental infrastructure facilities to ensure effective educational quality.
• To plan and coordinate the provision of comfortable and secure Government Non-Movable Assets quarters and support facilities.
• To plan, coordinate, and ensure the effective and harmonious management of Government Movable Assets owned by the Ministry of Education Malaysia.

CORE FUNCTIONS

To plan, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of programs/activities for the maintenance and management of Movable and Non-Movable Assets of the Ministry of Education Malaysia.

CUSTOMER CHARTER

• To ensure responses to customer inquiries and complaints are provided within 10 days and status reports within two (2) months.
• To provide approval for building/infrastructure maintenance applications received from JPN/Divisions within one (1) week.
• To manage appointment applications within two (2) weeks for the following appointments:
  • Asset Officers
  • Inspector Officers
  • Disposal Inspection Board
  • Investigation Committee
  • Store Verification Officer
• To manage bill payments/claims within 14 days.
