OBJECTIVES To produce quality technical and vocational education through:

• Alignment of TVET policies and planning, Infrastructure development and provision of facilities;
• Development of planned and effective TVET curriculum and programs for student development;
• Effective management of human resources, finances, administration, and student affairs;
• Planned continuous professionalism development for teachers and staff.

FUNCTIONS

• Planning, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation of macro policies and directions of technical and vocational education at the basic education level.
• Planning, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation of education development plans, research, information sources, and TVET infrastructure at the basic education level.
• Planning, monitoring, and evaluating the development of curriculum, assessment, and evaluation, as well as the accreditation process and quality assurance of TVET programs at the basic education level.
• Planning, monitoring, and evaluating the excellence of basic education TVET institutions, programs, and activities based on the needs of TVET planning at the basic education level.
• Planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating technical vocational education training (TVET) expertise development programs.
• Planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating quality standards in all aspects of administrative management of the Division, Vocational Colleges, and all TVET program institutions at the basic education level.

• Issue student admission offer letters 30 working days before the registration date;
• Issue teacher placement/exchange letters 15 working days before the reporting date;
• Inform the decision of re-enrollment/exchange student applications within 15 working days after receiving the complete application.
