CUSTOMER CHARTER

We, the Terengganu State Education Department, with full determination and commitment, promise to:

• Ensure children of appropriate age receive a place in schools from the first day of the school session.
• Provide special needs students with formal education opportunities.
• Commence teaching and facilitation (Pdpc) from the first day.
• Ensure all co-curricular, sports, and outdoor education activities at the state and district levels comply with the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Provide each student with textbooks under the Textbook Loan Scheme, a chair, and a desk on the first day of the school session.
• Inform about the decisions of re-enrollment, transfers, and appeals for returning to school within seven (7) working days after receiving complete applications.
• Conduct public exams and School-Based Assessments (PBS) with integrity following the procedures set by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM).
• Ensure schools receive teacher and Support Group Member (AKP) supplies based on current appointment warrants.
• Resolve personnel service matters at the Terengganu State Education Director level within two (2) weeks from the date of receiving complete documents.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and responsive counter services to meet customer needs.
• Manage finances based on Treasury Instructions (AP) and current financial procedures.
• Handle public complaints within fifteen (15) working days.
